Drive the machine on a level floor and ensure
that it cannot move
2 Turn the ignition key to “0”
3 Remove the hopper by using its transport handle
and wheels
4
Turn the ignition key to “I”, then check that
none of the machine functions can be operated; if
the machine operates also when the hopper has
been removed, adjust the hopper position switch
as shown in the next paragraph
Adjustment and Replacement
5 Disengage the front fastener and slightly lift
the battery/engine compartment hood (A),
then check that on the left side there is the
tab (B) which activates the hopper position
switch; if necessary, replace the battery/engine
compartment hood
6 Check that the inner vane (C) which activates
the hopper position switch is integral, and
swings freely in the direction shown by the
arrow (E), and that the return spring (D) is
working; if necessary, replace the part which is
not working
7 To adjust the position of the hopper position
switch, proceed as follows.

Open the battery/engine compartment hood (A).
