Change the filament
Take care - the focus cup (and other parts of the source) may be hot!
Always wear powder free gloves when handling the focus cup. It is
important to keep it clean for optimum system operation.
Do not use sharp or abrasive objects as it is important to not scratch
the surface of the focus cup.
Before touching the focus cup, it should be earthed by grounding it to
the outer casing using a suitable conductor such as a hex key or wire.
Be careful not to scratch the focus cup surface.
To change the filament, follow these steps:
1. Grasp the focus cup firmly and pull to disengage.
2. Close the source to keep it clean.
3. Move to the pre-prepared clean area.
4. Using a 1.5 mm hex key, loosen the grub screw holding the focus cup insert.
