Auxiliary Engine Driven Units
Engine Preparation
Never fill the tank with the engine running. Avoid spilling gasoline on a hot engine. This
could cause an explosion and serious injury� Do not smoke while handling gasoline� Failure
to follow this requirement may result in injury or machine damage�
Release the two clamps holding the engine hood and swing the hood rearward and downward� Check the
crankcase oil level� Refer to Lubrication Chart for details� Refer to engine manufacturer’s manual for the
proper amount and grade of oil� Fill crankcase as required�
Fill the fuel tank according to engine manual� Make sure the fuel shut-off valve is open if so equipped�
