Check drive chain tension between sprockets using a straight edge� When tensioned properly, one side of
chain will deflect 5/16” (10 mm) between sprockets.
1� Adjust Spinner Shaft as necessary to tension chain� Moving shaft to left tightens chain; moving to right
loosens�
2� Once properly tensioned, tighten all Spinner Shaft Bearing hardware to proper torque� Refer to “Standard
Torques” in Maintenance section of operator’s manual�
Loose drive chain will cause shock loads, resulting in damage or failure of related
components� Over-tightening of drive-chain causes excessive wear and heat, greatly
reducing chain and sprocket life and may cause damage to other components�
