The XML file contains the following:
Besides the IP address and the graphic name, the following options
can also be defined in this file.
The "
Type
" number by default is set to "1". This option determines the
movement of the screen saver graphic.
1 = Scroll right to left
2 = Scroll left to right
3 = Scroll up to down
4 = Scroll down to up
The "
Speed
" number by default is set to "2". This option determines
the speed of the movement for the graphic.
1 = Fast
2 = Medium
3 = Slow
7. Right-click on the
Scrsvr.xml
file and click
Edit
. Change the IP address to
match the server PC’s IP address and change the graphic name to the file
saved into the
image
directory. Save the file and close it.
8. Open the XML Application Suite from Internet Explorer (click
Start-
Programs-NEC-XML Application Suite
). Log in (by default,
Login=Admin, PIN=12345).

This portion of the setup can also be done from the IP Manager
application.
9. From the
Administration
page, go to the
System Information
.

The system Information section is used to set redirect links to other
external XML applications that are not managed by the XML
Application Suite. Up to 4 links can be added for connections to other
XML applications. These 4 links will be used for all User Accounts.
10. Select an available
System x
field. Under the
Name
field, enter the name
to be displayed on the XML terminal. Under the
URL
field, using the IP
address of the XML server PC, enter the following (replacing the IP
address as needed for your server), then click
Submit
