DHCP
Sometimes you cannot acquire an IP address even when you have set Automatic in the IP Address menu,
maybe because of your network environment. In such a case, make the settings in this submenu, following
the network administrator's instructions.
Host Name option:
Select whether or not you want to add Host Name option in DHCP processing:
None -------------------- Do not add.
Request ----------------- Add at the time of DHCP_REQUEST.
Discover/Request ------ Add at the time of DHCP_REQUEST and DHCP_DISCOVER.
Host Name:
Enter the host name to be used for Host Name option.
Client-Identifier option:
Select whether or not you want to add Client-Identifier option in DHCP processing:
None -------------------- Do not add.
Request . --------------- Add at the time of DHCP_REQUEST.
Discover/Request ------ Add at the time of DHCP_REQUEST and DHCP_DISCOVER.
Send MAC Address:
This checkbox is to specify the use of MAC address in the Client-Identifier option:
When you click this checkbox, MAC address is used as client-identifier.
When you deselect this checkbox (empty), MAC address is not used as client-identifier. In this case, enter a desired
character string as client-identifier in the field right beneath.
Client-Identifier:
Enter the character string of the client-identifier you have selected in the Client-Identifier option above.
Status
This submenu is used to display the network status of your projector.
If you select Automatic in the IP Setting box of the IP Address menu, the IP Address and Subnet Mask acquired from the
DHCP server are displayed together with the MAC Address of your projector or the wireless LAN card loaded on it.
If you select Manual in the IP Setting box of the IP Address menu, the IP Address and Subnet Mask manually set by you are
displayed together with the MAC Address of your projector or the wireless LAN card loaded on it.
