9-8. PCF File Creation
The PCF file (Projector Configuration File) includes the items mentioned below, which are the setting infor-
mation of the projector.
• Input signal information (Resolution, aspect ratio, etc.)
• Color Space Information
• Gamma information
• Native color information (MCGD)
• Target color information
To create a PCF file, do so with [Title Edit] under the Advanced menu.
One creation method is to call an existing file, make changes, and then save the file, and another method is
to create a new file; however, the basic operations are the same and the method of creating a new file will be
described here.
New Creation
1. Click [Advanced] of the setting screen tree, then click
[Title Edit] of the level below.
2. Selection of the TITLE
Switches the projector to the title of a PCF file.
The currently active (projected) title is the one that has the red mark
at the left of the No. of the Title Edit screen.
3. Double click the Title.
The [Title Edit] screen will appear.
4. Click [Setting] of the PCF File
The [PCF File Setup] screen will appear.
5. Click [Setting] of [SOURCE File].
The [SOURCE File Setup] screen will appear.
Enter the Aspect Ratio and Input Size, then press [EXIT].
Import
: Used when calling an existing file.
Aspect Ratio
: Enters or Selects the final aspect ratio of the con-
tents that will be input.
Position
: Sets the display position of the image. (Normally, all
are left at "0".)
Input Size
: Please enter the effective area of the input signal.
Save
: Used when creating a new SOURCE file. (This is
normally not used.)
Exit
: Returns to the previous screen. (Press when the
entry of the value has been completed.)
