Key Select:
Select a cryptographic key from among Key1 to Key4. This entry is necessary when you have selected 64bit or
128bit in the WEP box.
Key1 - Key4:
Enter the selected cryptographic key when you have selected 64bit or 128bit in the WEP box:
If your selection is 64bit
: 5 alphanumeric characters (ASCII) or 10 hexadecimal numerals (HEX)
If your selection is 128bit
: 13 alphanumeric characters (ASCII) or 26 hexadecimal numerals (HEX)
Alert Mail:
When your projector is connected to a LAN and lamp life is going to run out or other errors occur, an email is sent to your
PC alerting such status of your projector:
When you click this checkbox, alert mails are sent based on the email data set by you as below.
When you deselect this checkbox (empty), there is no alert emailing.
Given below is an example of alert mail:
Lamp is running out. Replace with a new lamp.
Projector Name: xxxx
Lamp Hour Meter: xxxx[H]
Projector Usage: xxxx[H]
Sender's Address:
Enter the email sender's address (From:) from your projector (a maximum string of 60 characters comprised of alpha-
numeric characters and symbols).
SMTP Server Name:
Enter the name of the SMTP server of the network to which your projected is connected. (Max. 60 alphanumeric
characters)
Recipient's Address 1 to 3:
Enter the email recipient's address (To:) from your projector. Up to three recipients can be assigned. (Max. 60 charac-
ters between alphanumeric characters and symbols)
Test Mail:
Click on this button to check the email data you have entered above.
Notes:
• If a transmission error occurs or no receiving of sent emails is discovered, check the LAN mode settings.
• In case of an error in the Recipient's Address, the email you've sent might have gone astray and no error message is
given in such a case. Therefore, your test email is not received properly by the recipient, check the entry in the
Recipient's Address field.
• Select Infrastructure in the Mode field of the Network Type submenu when you need to use the Alert Mail function for
your wireless LAN communications.
• To test-mail, the entries in the following three fields are essential: Sender's Address, SMTP Server Name and Recipient's
Address 1 to 3 (at least one recipient's address is required).
• If you make some changes in settings related to LAN mode other than Mail, be sure to perform Test Mail after clicking
the Apply button for such changes.
