Fan Error
LED
FAN Error LED is adjacent to each fan module. If a fan fails, the LED lights in amber. The failed
fan may be hot-swapped.
IMPORTANT:
Do not remove the fan that is normally operating. Ask your service
representative for replacement of the cooling fan. If a cooling fan
fails, do not continue to operate the system, but ask your service
representative for replacement as soon as you can.
The chassis top cover must be installed for proper system cooling.
Cooling components must be hot-swapped within two minutes. This
time period applies only to the time that the cooling component is
physically removed, not from the time of failure.
