To remove the top panel
(Figure 1-5)
:
1.
Be sure your system’s power cord is unplugged, then unscrew the 2 captive screws that secure the cab-
inet top panel to the base.
2.
Lift up the top panel as shown below.
3.
Remove the top panel.
Power Supply AC Input Fuses
The power supply AC input fuses (see the detail in the illustration above) protect the system power supply
from problems with the site’s AC line. These problems can include improperly wired outlets and power
surges. In normal operation, you should never need to replace the power supply AC input fuses.
To replace a fuse:
(Figure 1-5)
:
1.
Be sure your system’s power cord is unplugged.
2.
Using a commercially-available fuse puller, carefully remove the blown fuse(s).
3.
Replace the blown fuse only with the following type:
