Software of the Rnet System – On Board Programming
Programming must be conducted only by qualified personnel with in-depth
knowledge of the wheelchair and Rnet system.
Any change to this part of the software may result in a hazardous situation
for the user.
To manage this part of the software it is required a Rnet Dongle made by
Penny & Giles and some special software.
Please contact the manufacturer for more information
On board programming allows the wheelchair to be programmed via the Joystick Module to suit
the individual user.
Turn off the wheelchair. Insert the Rnet dongle along the communication cables in the system
configuration. Turn on the control system. After initialization press the Mode key (see Figure
19) until the OBP screen is reached.
List of parameters intended to be adjusted in OBP mode:
Profile Name
Sets the profile name
Profile enable
Sets if a profile is available
Mode enable
Sets which modes are available in specific profiles
Input device type
Set which input device is active within a profile
Maximum forward speed
Minimum forward speed
Maximum reverse speed
Minimum reverse speed
Maximum turn speed
Minimum turn speed
Maximum forward acceleration
Minimum forward acceleration
