Install two SIMMs at a time, and install them into the sockets in the
following order: 1 and 2, then 3 and 4, then 5 and 6. (It is easier to
install each pair of SIMMs by installing the SIMM in the odd-numbered
sockets first.)

Hold the SIMM by its edges, with the memory chips facing the front of
the MAXserver, then insert the SIMM into the slot. Angle the top of the
SIMM (about 30°) toward the rear of the MAXserver (see Figure 39).
8.
Place your thumbs on opposite corners of the SIMM and press down.
9.
Press forward (toward the rear of the MAXserver) until you feel the
SIMM snap into place.
