PORZE - GPS data set
The sentence contains a recommended minimum of data about SNS GLONASS, GPS: time, date,
coordinates, traveling angle, speed generated by receiver, and also identifier of the receiver
permitting to identify objects in dispatching systems. Besides in the PORZE sentence coordinates
can be transmitted both as latitude and longitude, and in a rectangular projection of Gauss -
Krugger. In the latter case instead of latitude the significance of coordinate X in meters is
transmitted; instead of a longitude – significance Y, displaced on 500000 meters plus number of a
zone, increased on 1000000. Fields defining southern or northern latitude (N, S) and east or western
longitude (E, W) remain empty.
For example, if the significances are accepted
latitude 5452812.5,
longitude 6417534.2,
it means that number of a zone - 6,
X = 5452812.5 m,
Y = 417534.2 - 500000 = -82465.8 m.
