Troubleshooting

Should you experience difficulty when operating your Drier, consult the following 
table. For problems not listed in the table, contact Natus Medical (see page 5-2).

Ensure that the power cord is plugged 
in to an appropriate electrical outlet.

Check the external circuit breaker.

Blown fuse

Replace the fuse (see page 6-2).

Defective control PCB

Replace the control PCB (see 
page 6-4).

Timer on or in timed 
position, but blower 
doesn’t operate or 
intermittent blower 
operation

Malfunctioning blower

Replace the blower and reset the 
thermostat (see page 6-11).

Blower fan blocked

Remove the blockage, free the fan, then 
reset the thermal cut-out (see 
page 6-14).

Loose wire connection 
at J-5 or J-6 on control 
PCB

Ensure that the screws at the J-5 and 
J-6 connections are tight.

Gently pull the wires to ensure that the 
wires are tightly secured.

Defective control PCB

Replace the control PCB (see 
page 6-4).

Relay hold-down clip is 
loose

Follow directions for replacing the 
blower relay (see page 6-10, step 1 
through step 3). Ensure that the relay 
hold-down clip is over the relay switch.

Defective blower relay 
(Model 44)

Replace the blower relay (see 
page 6-10).
