Model 43/44 Instruction Manual

Repair Procedures

Replacing the Blower Control Relay

(Model 44 only)

If the timer is on, but the blower doesn’t operate, replace the blower control relay.

Required Items:

Blower control relay (part no. 200041)

Screwdriver

To replace the blower control relay:

1

Press the power switch to the

OFF

(O) position, then unplug the power cord.

Remove the upper white door seal and loosen—but no not remove—the screws

just inside the Drier door (behind the door stop) (see Figure 4.2 on page 4-3).

Pull out and remove the front cover (see Figure 4.3 on page 4-3).

Unplug the blower control relay from the socket (see drawing 700203).

5

Remove the old relay, then place the new relay into position.

6

Position the front cover, tighten the screws, then push the door seal into place.

7

Plug in the power cord, then press the power switch to the

ON

(|) position.

8

Test the device for proper operation (see page 2-4).

WARNING

Electrical shock hazard when the front panel is removed.
