SLMT
This setting command is used for setting a limit. It needs two fields as follows:
#SLMT<array><checksum>*
The
array
represents the hex-ascii 258-character-size file, made of ascii
text that
contains
hexadecimal
characters encoding the complete structure of limits.
The structure is of the type:
struct LIMIT_STRUCT{
float
freq;
short Lev[2];
};
struct LIMIT_STRUCT Limits[16];
Every single byte should be sent by splitting into two ascii characters, e.g. 0xA5
becomes 'A' and '5'.
The
checksum
is a 2-character long text that represents the checksum. This figure is
calculated by using
0xAA
as a seed and summing up ascii code of all transmitted
characters (related to
array
only).
ER9000 replies
LMT=OK
or
LMT=SERR
in case the calculated checksum does not
match the checksum in the file.
Example:
#SLMT007C124811<further 248 characters> B7*
SMAF f
This setting command sets the tuning frequency for manual mode. The string (f) can be
in exponential form and should be expressed in Hz. The reply is
MAF=OK
which
acknowledges the command has been granted or
MAF=SERR
if the command has
been ignored.
When the command is granted the ER9000 goes to manual mode automatically
Example:
#SMAF150e3*
Sets the manual frequency to 150kHz
SMAT a
This setting command sets Attenuator, for Manual Mode, to the value indicated by (a)
which can be 0 to 45. Automatic Attenuator feature is disabled. If (a) is a negative figure
then the Automatic Attenuator feature is turned on. The reply is
MAT=OK
which
acknowledges the command has been granted or
MAT =SERR
if the command has
been ignored.
When the command is granted the ER9000 goes to manual mode automatically.
Note: the maximum available attenuation can be read with command ?MAA.
Example:
#SMAT 15*
(set attenuator to 15dB and disable Automatic Attenuator feature)
Example:
#SMAT -1*
(Enable Automatic Attenuator feature)
