3 – Operating Instructions

3.1 Introduction

The PMM ER9000 EMI Receiver can be operated as a stand-alone receiver or
remotely driven by a PC through an USB connection.

The system is provided with a specifically developed software called PMM
Emission Suite, which installer utility is stored on the Software Media shipped
together with the instrument.

Please refer to the PMM Emission Suite Manual for any information and
instruction concerning the operation of the software.

3.2 Operating Modes

Both in stand-alone and under the control of the PMM Emission Suite PC
Software, it is possible to use the receiver in different modes of operation.
They are: Manual, Sweep and Analyzer mode.
