Entering Configuration Settings with GTWIN

“Basic Setup” screen
Title ––– The title of the configuration settings file is entered here. Titles are convenient
if each GT10 has its own configuration settings.
PLC Model ––– The model of PLC specified when GTWIN is booted is displayed here.
GT Model ––– The model of GT specified when GTWIN is booted is displayed here.
Basic communication area to PLC
This is used to specify the mode in which communication takes place between the GT10
and PLC, and the internal PLC device used for basic communication.
Modes
Turn on the radio button for either “GT10 Mode” or “IOP01 Mode”.
– GT10 Mode ––– Select this if you are using the GT10 for the first time.
– IOP01 Mode ––– This mode is for users who are using a conventional model (I.O.P.
B01C / M01L / D01TL). If this mode is selected, the basic communication area for
communication between the GT10 and PLC is compatible with conventional models for
the most part, except for a few items.

Device used
This specifies the internal PLC device used for basic communication between the GT10
and PLC.

Word area ––– This specifies the type of device that reads and writes screen
numbers and other information in word units, and the initial address.
