Through function: Through function destination setting
When the through function is being used, this specifies the number of the PLC at the
other end of the connection. Normally, when used in a 1 : 1 configuration, this should
be set to “00”.
Bitrate: GTWIN communication speed
Each time the [Function] key is touched, the Baud rate switches in the sequence of
9600/19200/115200 bits/s. Set the speed to match that of the personal computer
(GTWIN) connected to the GT30.
Format: Transmission format
This sets the communication parameters (data length, stop bits, parity) for the personal
computer (GTWIN) connected to the GT30.
The items displayed are: Data length / Stop bit / Parity, and each time the [Function] key
is pressed, the display switches in the sequence of: [8/1/None], [8/1/Odd], [8/1/Even].

settings)
Bitrate: PLC communication speed
This sets the communication speed or Baud rata, for communication with an external
device (PLC) connected to the GT30.
Each time the [Function] key is pressed, the Baud rate switches in the sequence of
9600/19200/38400/57600/1 15200 bits/s. Set the speed to match that of the PLC
connected to the GT30.
