4.7 MEDIA HANDLING
The following describes the procedures for installing and setting the media and how to use the take-up
mechanism.
The procedures required for media installation is shown in the following flow diagram.
Refer to the following items according to the model to be used before performing the operations.
(1) Using the rigid media
(2) Using the roll media
Remove the flat stand

Install the roll media to the scroller

Placement of the roll media
Set the roll media to the product

Loading roll media
When the take-up mechanism is used, set the roll medial to
the take-up mechanism

Setting winding unit
Set the media type

Setting media type
Caution :
When performing the following work, always perform work with 2 people.

Setting of the winding unit
Install Flat Stand
Make sure to use clean media tray (clean with Isopropanol)
Set head height in the highest position
Set the rigid media on the printer
