5.6 OPERATING FORM THE OPERATION PANEL 

This section describes functions operated on the operational panel when the printer is in the normal status. 
 

 

Notes : 
 

• 

For information of the name and function of each key, refer to "Operation panel". 

 

 

 

Important:

 

 
Always wear protective goggles.  Operators as well as technicians and visitors 
have to wear protective goggles whenever the infrared lamp is active.  Not doing  
so will cause serious permanent damage to your eyes 
Do not touch the infrared lamp or infrared lamp house after or during operation. 
Doing so may result in burns 

 

 

 

Caution : 
 

During printing on rigid materials, the fans will cool off the infrared lamp. Please note 
there is no detection. Regularly check if the fans are working. You can do this by using a 
sheet of paper holding between fans and lamp house. 
 

 

5.6.1 To stop printing operation 

If you want to stop the printing operation, follow the steps below. 
 
Press the [F1] key of the operation panel to cancel the print. 
• The printer works as follows.

Operation after the [F1] key is pressed

 

While printing 

Stops printing and deletes data of a file remaining in the printer. 

While receiving/converting 

Deletes the data already received and converted, then deletes data from now

Stops waiting for the ink drying time and discharges the media.
