7. Integration in RSLogix 5000
7.1 Install the MTS EtherNet/IP™ EDS file
The EDS file for the R-Series
V
EtherNet/IP™ sensor is available at
www.mtssensors.com.
It provides full backwards compatibility to the previous generation of
R-Series EtherNet/IP™ sensors.
7.1.1
Open the RSLogix 5000 software interface.
7.1.2
Click the Tools menu and select “EDS Hardware Installation
Tool”.

The ‘EDS Wizard’ window opens, click Next, in the ‘Options’
window select Register an EDS file(s) and click “Next”.
