The button is a push button on the top of
Mr Beam. It is assigned several functions,
which are explained below.
Turning on
After the key is inserted into the key switch
and turned clockwise, briefly press the
button. The light of the laser head is swit-
ched on immediately and after 10 seconds
the Status Lights are also switched on.
Start a laser operation
After you have prepared a laser job on
Mr Beam Laserbench (the Mr Beam
software), you can start the job on your
Mr Beam by pressing the button once.
Pausing
To pause a laser job, press the button,
then wait briefly until the suction system
has removed vapors. Now you can open
and close the protective cover and cont-
inue the laser job by pressing the button
again.
Shutting down
Press and hold the button for five seconds
to shut down your Mr Beam in an orderly
manner. Your Mr Beam will shut down
after about 15 seconds. Shutting down
will not turn off your Mr Beam. To turn off,
turn the key switch counterclockwise and
remove it (see chapter 4 „Setup proce-
dure“).
Note: The status light also lights up in the
shut down state.
