GTR 8000 Base Radio
Description
Transceiver Option Card
An optional board that attaches to the control
board of the transceiver. Provides an internal 10
MHz frequency reference. For conventional base
radio/receiver operation it also provides the analog
interfaces and wild card I/Os. The transceiver option
card is available in two categories:
• OCXO (Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator)
• TCXO (Temperature Compensated Crystal
Oscillator)
Fan
Provides intermittent forced air cooling for the power
amplifier and transceiver modules.
* = Not applicable in the GPW 8000 Receiver.
