To configure the output module, select the element XC-NET-
CAN and click on the right mouse button. Choose Append
Subelement and select a module.
Several register tabs are shown. The default values can be left
unchanged.

To define the addresses, select ‹Extras r Calculate addresses›.

Save the configuration.
Creating a program for remote outputs on the
CANopen bus
Two output bytes are provided. Each byte is assigned a value.
The example is saved as a separate program and is called from the
program ABC. Proceed as follows to open the new program:

Use the tab to select the POUs folder in the POUs register.

Select the function Add Object.
X
Select Program as POU type and IL as POU language.
X
Assign the name CANIO and confirm with OK.

Declare the variables and enter the program:

Add the instruction CAL DPIO in the program ABC to call the
program DPIO.
X
Save the project.
X
Compile the program for testing and load it into the PLC.
