7 Carrying out maintenance

The manufacturer recommends maintenance of the unit at intervals of
3 months.

7.1 Carrying out recommended maintenance

7.1.1 Lubricating the lid hinge

Use special grease suitable for fittings.

Requirement

Unit switched off

Unit emptied

1. Close the lid.

2. Unscrew the cap nut with a spanner.

3. Place the grease gun on the lubrication nipple.
4. Inject the special grease with the grease gun.

5. Screw the cap nut on with a spanner.
