Mobile Assistant
Mobile Assistant provides the convenience of using your desktop computer to manage the
data in your Smartphone. It consists of six profiles: Contacts, SMS, Ring, Photo, Video, and
Setting. You can easily add, delete, edit, and transfer specific information using the
user-friendly interface on your desktop computer.

Your desktop computer must have Windows Media Player 9.0 or later for Mobile Assistant to
work properly.
Mobile Assistant does not support Windows 98.
Starting Mobile Assistant
After installing Mobile Assistant (as described in section 12.1), the Mobile Assistant shortcut
is created on the desktop of your computer. To use Mobile Assistant:
1.
Connect your Smartphone to your desktop computer using ActiveSync.
2.
Double-click the shortcut
to open Mobile Assistant.
The Mobile Assistant screen contains three major areas:
Profile buttons: At the top of the screen are six buttons representing the six profiles.
Tool bar: The tool bar displays tools such as
Add
and
Delete
available for the current
profile. At the right is the
Update now
button
for refreshing data on your
Smartphone.
Data area: The data area displays specific data in your Smartphone. Depending on the
current profile, a file explorer and Media Player may also appear.
