Windows Media
Options
Description
Network
This page has two setting items:
Internet Connection Speed
Select the speed of your network connection.
Protocol
Select the check box for each protocol that you want to enable.
You must select at least one protocol. Enter the port number for
User Datagram Protocol (UDP), if necessary. We recommend
that you select all protocols. However, if your network
implements a firewall that prevents you from receiving streams
that use the UDP or TCP protocols, you might want to clear the
UDP or TCP check boxes.
Library
This page has one setting item:
Start Player on Library screen
Check this box (default) to show the Library screen when you
open Windows Media Player. Clear this box to show the
Playback screen when you open Windows Media Player.
NOTE:
This option does not take effect until you turn off your
Smartphone and then turn it on again.
Skins
If you have additional skins installed on your device, you can scroll
left/right to select a skin.
To download new skins, see the WMPlugins.com Web site
(http://www.wmplugins.com). To ensure that skins appear on the Skins
options screen, do not store skin files in the Windows folder on your
Smartphone.
Buttons
To give you quick access to some Windows Media Player controls
without using the menus, you can assign their functions to the hardware
buttons on your Smartphone.
In the list of controls, scroll to the item that you want to change (such as
the button assigned to the Play/Pause control), select
Menu
, select
Assign
, and then press the hardware button (such as the
Action
key)
that you want to assign to that control.
To reset a control to its default hardware button, scroll to the item that
you want to change, select
Menu
, and then select
Reset
.
To assign no hardware button to a control, scroll to the item that you
want to change, select
Menu
, and then select
None
.
NOTE:
Action
key means pressing the Navigation stick on your
Smartphone. Up/Down/Left/Right key means pushing Navigation stick
toward the corresponding direction.
