charge, and typically involve minor modifications to the existing software. Software upgrades completely upgrade and
replace the existing applications and can be purchased from a retailer, when available.
How do I set the MioMore Desktop preferences?
Start the MioMore Desktop and then click

You can change the MioMore Desktop measurement preferences to Metric or Imperial units. The map
measurement units may also be altered by selecting the appropriate check box.
Mio Online
Note:
You must have an active Internet connection to access Mio Online.
Clicking the
Mio Online
button on the left side displays the Mio website in the embedded browser
window. You can then browse the web pages within the window.
My Maps
My Maps
allows you to install maps or remove maps from your Mio.

How do I install maps onto my Mio?
You Mio comes pre-installed with map data. In case you have accidentally removed map data, you can
restore the map data. If additional or new maps are available, you can also install the new map data.
1. Connect your Mio to your computer via the USB cable.
2. Start MioMore Desktop. Click the
My Maps
button.
