Chapter 2 Basic Operation
(1) Loosen the pinch screws on the outside (left
and right) of the folding bar mounting plate.
• The folding bar press becomes movable
freely.
(2) While holding the loosened pinch screws,
move the folding bar press towards you.
• Move until it hits the stopper.
(3) Insert and move folding bar downward.
• Mount folding bar into the lower part of the
potbelly-type hole.
• Check the mounted position of folding bar. If
inserted in a wrong position, folding bar
cannot be fixed.
(4) Move the folding bar press toward the
machine and fix it.
• Do the same for both the left and right folding
bar mounting boards.

Set the left end of the core of the roll media
on the left roll holder.
• Push the roll media onto the roll holder until the
roll core is all the way seated.

Loosen the screw of the right side feeding
device then insert the core of the roll
media.

Fix feeding legs on the floor.
• Be sure to fix feeding legs on the floor to prevent
the shaft fixing feeding device from bending due
to the weight of the set the media.

Lower feeding tension bar and take-up
tension bar.

Raise the clamp lever in the rear of this
machine.
• If the clamp lever is kept lowered, feeding device
will be locked and you will become unable to pull
out the media in and after step 11.

Insert the roll media in this machine.
(1) Pull out the media so that it reaches the head
of the platen.
