The door will not open
Possible cause Remedy
The door is locked after
a programme has been
cancelled.
For safety reasons the drum door cannot be opened
if the suds temperature is higher than 50°C. Wait
until the machine has cooled down.
The door will not open at
the end of a wash
programme. Press against the door handle, switch the machine
off and then back on again. Then pull on the door
handle again.
There is still water in the
drum and the machine is
unable to drain. The drainage system may be blocked. Clean the
drainage system as described in the next section.
The door handle safety
device has disengaged. The door handle has a safety device to prevent
damage to the lock. Press firmly against the door
handle until you clearly hear the safety device
engage.
To continue a programme after a power cut
Possible cause Remedy
Power cut. Confirm the message shown in the display by
pressing the
OK button and then press the
Start
button. The programme will then continue with the
next programme stage.
Switch the machine off
and then back on again
with the On/Off button.
