9. 1 Installation Instructions
9.1.1 Pendant Pipe Mount
Ceiling Support Frame Installation Instructions
(1) Remove the ceiling support frame and attach the connector ring to the
aluminum tube in clockwise direction.
(2) Mark the ceiling with regards to the 4 mount holes on the ceiling support frame.
(3) Drill 4 holes of diameter φ6mm, depth 20mm.
(4) Hammer the 4 wall screws into the holes.
(5) Secure the entire ceiling support frame to the screw mounts (Figure 1).
(6) Fasten the connector ring to the wall hang support in the clockwise direction
(Figure 2).
(7) Thread the cabling of the main unit through the short aluminum tube and
push the cables out from the bottom (Figure 4, 5).
(8) Pull out the cables and connect the main unit to the connector ring in the
clockwise direction. Use hex driver to secure the stop screw to the connector
ring and fasten the safety cable to the tube (Figure 6).
(9) Installation completed (Figure 7).
Note:
When using water sealing tape, the entire portion of the spiral tooth for the
connector ring must be applied with the tape. This will prevent rain water
leaking through the connection.
When drilling the hole, please make sure the wall thickness is greater than
50mm in order to maintain its structural integrity.
The holes on the wall support are of diameter φ 8 mm. Please use screws of
φ 6~7.5mm.
Warning:
Please remove the connector ring from the speed dome and replace with the
connector ring that comes with the support.
When using in an outdoor environment, the safety cable must be secured to the
main unit and the pendant mount bracket. Please select from one of the four
screw holes (figure 1) on the nearby support frame to secure the safety cable.
This will prevent the unit from falling and cause personal injuries.
