Using the 12 V socket in the rear com-
partment

If you use the 12 V sockets under the arm-
rest and in the rear simultaneously, be aware
not to exceed the maximum power consump-
tion of 180 W. You will otherwise overload the
fuse.
Requirements:

consumption of 180 watts (15 A).

The accessories are supplied with power via
the socket even when the ignition is switched
off. Run the engine more frequently if you
want to connect accessories for an extended
period of time. This will keep the battery
charged up. Disconnect accessories from the
socket if the vehicle is to be parked up for an
extended period of time.
Otherwise, the battery may discharge. You
will then be unable to start the engine.

use this socket only while the engine is run-
ning to prevent the starter battery from dis-
charging.

Fitting/removing the floormat

WARNING
Objects in the driver's footwell may restrict
the clearance around the pedals or block a
depressed pedal. This jeopardises the oper-
ating and road safety of the vehicle. There is a
risk of an accident.
Stow all objects securely in the vehicle so that
they do not get into the driver's footwell.
Always fit the floormats securely and as pre-
scribed in order to ensure that there is always
sufficient room for the pedals. Do not use
loose floormats and do not place several floor-
mats on top of one another.
