WARNING ‑ Danger of burns or frostbite
due to being too close to the air vents
Very hot or very cold air can flow from the air
vents.
This could result in burns or frostbite in the
immediate vicinity of the air vents.
#
Make sure that all vehicle occupants
always maintain a sufficient distance to
the air vents.
#
If necessary, direct the airflow to
another area of the vehicle interior.
Depending on the vehicle equipment, there will
be an air duct or a heater with additional air noz‐

.
No objects may be placed there. Passengers
must maintain a sufficient distance due to the
warm air flow and air intake.

DANGER Risk of fatal injury due to poi‐
sonous exhaust gases
If the tailpipe is blocked or sufficient ventila‐
tion is not possible, poisonous exhaust gases
such as carbon monoxide may enter the vehi‐
cle. This is the case in enclosed spaces or if
the vehicle gets stuck in snow, for example.
#
Always switch the stationary heater off
in enclosed spaces without an air
extraction systems, e.g. in garages.
