Vehicle safety

Read the relevant section of the detailed operating
instructions covering installation work before install-
ing, adding, mounting or modifying any assemblies.
If you do not read this information, there is a risk
that you may overlook hazards which could result in
serious injury or death.
We recommend that you use the parts, major assem-
blies, conversion parts and accessories that are rec-
ommended by MBUSA and MBCAN for the vehicle
model concerned.
All vehicle modifications, which affect the certifi-
cation of the vehicle, may result in hazards to road
users or could have an adverse effect on exhaust
and noise emissions.
The use of parts, major assemblies, conversion parts
or accessories which have not been recommended
may jeopardize the safety of the vehicle.
Make sure that you comply with all of the relevant
laws and regulations. Please note that any retrofit-
ting or vehicle modifications can result in a legal
