Brake hoses/cables and lines

Note
Any work carried out on the vehicle must comply
with accident prevention regulations.

Comply with all national regulations and laws.
Cover plastic lines and brake hoses before carrying out
any welding, drilling and grinding work or before work-
ing with cutting disks. If necessary, the plastic lines and
brake hoses should be removed.
Test each of the systems for pressure loss and leaks
after installing compressed-air lines and hydraulic lines.
No other lines may be attached to brake hoses.
No other lines may be attached to brake lines, other
than those installed as standard.
Lines must be protected from heat by means of insula-
tion.
Line routing must be designed to prevent any increase
in pressure loss.

Work carried out incorrectly on the brake hoses or
cables may impair their function. This may lead to
the failure of components or parts relevant to safety.
