* If transport equipment, e.g. a trailer or bicycle rack, is attached to the trailer hitch and the electrical connection is
correctly established, Parking Assist PARKTRONIC is not available when backing up. The maneuvering assistant is also
unavailable for the rear area in this situation.

Press the left-hand Touch Control and acknowledge the display message.
Active Parking Assist and
PARKTRONIC Inoperative

* Active Parking Assist and Parking Assist PARKTRONIC are malfunctioning.
Once the cause of the problem is no longer present, the system will be available again.
