Electric Window Lifters
Switch g ro u p fo r w indow lifters:
1 front, left
2 rear, left
3 fro n t, rig h t
4 rear, right
5 Safety switch
The e le ctric w indow lifters can only
be operated w ith the steering lock in
position “ 2” . All fo u r w indow s can
then be operated using the sw itches
in the ce n te r console. The rear d o o r
w indow s can also be operated using
the sw itches in each rear d o o r panel
as long as the safety sw itch “ S” in the
ce n te r console is depressed. If the
safety switch is not depressed, inad­
vertent op e ra tio n of the rear door
w indow s (for instance, by ch ild re n ) is
prevented.
The fro n t d o o r w indow s move slower
than the rear d o o r w indows.
W hen the ignition sw itch is turned off,
the w indow s cannot be operated.
