Hood
Parking Brake
O pening:
To unlock the hood, pull handle
(below in stru m e n t panel, LH side).
The hood opens up to the safety catch
stops.
Swing the safety catches on LH and
RH sides of ra d ia to r g rille fo rw a rd and
lift hood. (W indshield w iper arm s
m ust not be fo ld e d forw ard.)
Closing:
Firm ly depress hood.
Depress p arking brake pedal (1).
When the steering lock key is in
position “ 2” , the brake w arning light in
the in stru m e n t clu ste r com es on.
To release, pull release button (2) on
the in stru m e n t panel. The parking
brake releases in one rapid
m ovem ent. The p arking brake
w arning lig h t in th e instru m e n t cluster
m ust go out.
