20.10.5 EXTERNAL PAPER ROLL HOLDER
The external paper roll holder is used to operate the printer with large paper rolls up to 250 mm in diameter. A tensioner
controls the tensile stress for printing speed up to 250 mm/s. The roll holder can be mounted in different positions. A
paper guide is provided for operating the roll holder, in some positions together with a tensioner in the paper guide as a
diversion.
Please pay attention to the necessary paper flow.
At high speeds, it must be ensured that printing is carried out continuously. Strong accelerations during the printing
process can lead to blockages. In this case, reduce the printing speed or the acceleration of the printer.
The standard paper widths are 60 and 82.5 mm. Other paper widths on request. The printer is available with a 40 mm or a
76 mm paper axis. For thick paper, the 76 mm paper axis is recommended to prevent curling of the tickets.
A NPE sensor can be mounted as an option. The standard cable length is 250 mm. Cable lengths of up to 670 mm are
available on request.
The clear width for the paper roll diameter is 266 mm and is therefore also the maximum permissible roll diameter. Please
note that the printing speed or the acceleration may have to be adjusted for rolls <250 mm.
