DivX VOD
: This menu item contains the DiVX registration code you need
to take advantage of the video-on-demand offer on the DiVX
home page (www.divx.com/vod) and the offers made by a
range of other suppliers.
Video-on-demand files are usually video films which can be
downloaded from Internet sites for a fee. In order to play
these films with your DVD player you first have to set up a
user account on the DivX homepage and state the
registration code of your DVD receiver to register the device.
A different registration is required for each DVD device that
supports DivX. Please refer to the DivX homepage for more
information.
The registration code is only required if you have
downloaded video-on-demand files to your PC, burned them
to CD/DVD and want to play them back on your DVD player.
The registration code is not required for traditional DivX files
that are not video-on-demand files.
