TV format
Here you set the unit's display format to match that of the television.
PS
:
Selection for televisions with 4:3
format. The Pan Scan format
depicts 16:9 film formats in full
height, the sides of the image will
be cropped.
LB
:
Selection for televisions with 4:3
format. The letterbox format
reduces the 16:9 film format to the
size of the screen.
Wide:
Selection for televisions with
16:9 format.

TV Standard:
Select the colour standard of your television here:
NTSC
:
Usual colour format for North America.
You have to select this format if you use the progressive scan
selection.
PAL
:
Usual colour format for many European countries.
Video output
Select the colour format on which the SCART socket or component output
should be based.
This point is only active when the progressive scan function is switched off.
To do this: in the

Fbas Signal
: The video signal is output via the FBAS connection
(standard).
RGB Signal
: The video signal is output via the RGB coknnection. The
colour format is higher-ranking, but is not supported by all
television sets.
YUV
:
The best image quality is achieved in YUV format
assuming, of course, your television can process this
format (can receive progressive scan signals).

If scenes on the DVD ahave been shot from various camera
angles ansd stored, an icon will appear on the screen to
indicate this .
Off
:
The symbol does not appear with this setting.
