Determining the Cell Module’s IMSI/IMEI
When provisioning the cell module for network service, the cellular provider typically requires the Interna-
tional Mobile Subscriber Identity code (IMSI) or International Mobile Station Equipment Identity code
(IMEI) to be provided. These codes can be determined by entering the following command:
show interfaces interface Cell cell-status
(Where
Cell
is the configured name for the cellular device.
Cell
is the factory default name, but it may have
been changed by a previous user.)
When the above command is entered, a number of items are returned as shown in the example below. The
first two items (highlighted blue) show the IMSI and IMEI codes. These are unique for each unit.
