Engine Diagnostics
The Engine Diagnostics screen (Figure 61) allows the operator
or a technician to view any faults sensed by the ECM.

Diagnostics
The engine has diagnostic information that can be viewed using the
MDC displays. The engine manufacturer provides a second level of
diagnostic information. Refer to the engine documentation for
hardware requirements and access to that level. The communication
port is located below the right side arm rest (Figure 62).

Number of Sensed Faults Displays the current number of active faults currently sensed by the ECM. Display only, no ability to
enter or change data. Test line displays
NUMBER OF SENSED ENGINE FAULTS XXX

XXX is the number of faults since last reset.
Active Fault Codes
Text line header that defines the list of following faults as currently active. Text line displays,
ACTIVE FAULT CODES:
. List is scrollable.
Vehicle Display
Indicates function of button #4. When this button is depressed the screen changes to display the
Vehicle Display screen.
Main Menu
Indicates function of button #5. When this button is depressed the screen changes to the Main
Menu screen.
