•
Keep the unit out of reach of children and dis-
abled persons.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD
USAGE ONLY
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
In case of unit transportation or storage
under cold (winter) conditions, it is neces-
sary to keep it for at least two hours at room
temperature before switching on.
–
Unpack the unit completely and remove any
stickers that can prevent unit operation.
–
Check the unit for damages; do not use it in
case of damages.
–
Before switching the unit on, make sure that
the voltage of the mains corresponds to the
unit operating voltage.
–
Wash all removable parts in warm water with a
neutral detergent: the lid (3), the axis (4), the
spatula (6) and the bowl (7). Rinse all the parts
under running water and dry them thoroughly.
–
Clean the motor unit (1) with a damp soft cloth
and then wipe it dry.
ATTENTION! To avoid electric shock, do not
immerse the motor unit (1), power cord or
power plug into water or other liquids.
Assembling the unit
–
Insert the axis (4) into the motor unit (1) (pic. 1).
–
Place the lid (3) on the axis (4) so that the axis
is in the widest part of the lid opening (pic. 2).
Move the motor unit (1) along the grooves of
the lid until it is fully fixed.
–
Set the spatula (6) on the axis (4) (pic. 3).
–
Install the motor unit with the lid on the bowl
(7). To do this, match the ledges on the lid (3)
with the grooves on the bowl (7) (pic. 4). Then
turn the lid clockwise until it is fixed (pic. 5).
MAKING ICE CREAM
Attention: Before making ice cream, make sure
that your freezer provides the temperature of –
18°С.
–
Put the bowl (7) into the freezer for at least 8
hours.
–
Make the mixture for ice cream preliminary
(see the chapter «Recipes»). It is recom-
mended to cool the mixture down beforehand
to reduce the ice cream maker operation time.
–
Remove the bowl (7) from the freezer (do not
touch the bowl with bare hands). Place the
bowl on a flat stable surface.
–
Assemble the unit (see «Assembling the
unit»).
–
Insert the power plug into the mains socket
and set the switch (2) to the position «I».
–
Gradually pour the ice cream mixture in
through the feeding opening (5).
–
The mixture must be stirred until it reaches
the required viscosity. It can take from 15 to
40 minutes.
Important: do not stop or switch the ice
cream maker off during the preparation since
the mixture may freeze to the inner surface of
the bowl (7) or to the spatula (6).
–
After the ice cream is ready, set the switch (2)
to the position «0» and unplug the unit.
–
Remove the lid (3) from the bowl (7) by turning
it counterclockwise.
–
To avoid damage of the inner coating of the
bowl, remove the ready ice cream with a plas-
tic or wooden spatula.
Note: Homemade ice cream is different from
the factory made product: homemade ice cream
is softer. To harden the ice cream, put it into a
container and place it into the freezer for some
time (about 30 minutes). Do not use the bowl
(7) for this.
ATTENTION!
Maximal amount of products in the bowl is
350 ml.
Maximal continuous operation time is 40 mi-
nutes.
Motor overheating protection
In case of overheating of the motor winding, the
automatic thermal switch will be on, and the motor
will be switched off. In this case switch the unit
off with the switch (2) and unplug it. Let the unit
cool down for 15-30 minutes and then switch it
on again.
RECOMMENDATIONS
•
Before making ice cream, wash and wipe
dry all the attachments contacting with prod-
ucts.
•
Put the bowl (7) into the freezer for at least
8 hours at the temperature not higher than
-18°С
.
If you use the bowl often, put it into a
plastic bag and keep it in the freezer.
•
Add different fillings (chocolate crumbs,
crushed nuts etc.) to the ice cream 5 minutes
after stirring is started or add the fillings to the
ready ice cream before freezing it.
•
Do not refreeze the ready ice cream.
