For additional protection it is reasonable to install
a residual current device (RCD) with nominal
operation current not exceeding 30 mA. To install
RCD, contact a specialist.
SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the unit, read this instruction manual
carefully and keep it for future reference.
Use the unit for intended purposes only, as speci-
fied in this manual. Mishandling the unit can lead
to its breakage and cause harm to the user or
damage to his/her property.
•
Before switching the unit on for the first time,
make sure that the voltage in your mains cor-
responds to the unit’s voltage.
•
To avoid fire, do not use adapters for connect-
ing the unit to the mains.
•
Place the unit on a flat moisture-resistant sur-
face away from sources of heat and open
flame. Do not place the unit on the edge of
the table.
•
Do not use the unit near containers filled with
water, next to a kitchen sink, in wet basements
or near a swimming pool.
•
To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the
motor unit, power cord or plug into water or
other liquids.
•
Do not touch the unit body and the power plug
with wet hands.
•
Before using the unit, examine the power cord
closely and make sure that it is not damaged.
If you find any damages of the power cord, do
not use the unit.
•
Provide that the power cord does not contact
with hot surfaces and sharp furniture edges.
Do not let the power cord hang from the edge
of a table.
•
Do not use the unit outdoors.
•
The bowl is filled with a low-temperature solu-
tion; if you notice that the solution is leaking
from the bowl, immediately stop using the ice
cream maker despite the fact that the solu-
tion is safe.
•
To protect your hands from freeze burns when
working with the ice cream maker bowl, do
not touch the bowl with bare hands, especially
when removing the bowl from the freezer.
•
Switch the unit on only after installing the
motor unit on the bowl.
•
Never leave the operating ice cream maker
unattended.
•
Use only the accessories supplied with the
unit.
•
Do not touch the rotating spatula of the ice
cream maker.
•
Do not put your hands or any objects into the
feeding opening during the ice cream maker
operation.
•
Remove the motor unit after complete stop of
the rotating spatula.
•
Unplug the unit before cleaning or when you
are not using it.
•
When unplugging the unit, pull the plug but
not cord.
•
Clean the unit regularly.
•
Do not allow children to touch the unit body
and the power cord during unit operation.
•
This unit is not intended for usage by children
under 8 years of age.
•
This unit is not intended for usage by people
with physical, neural and mental disorders or
with insufficient experience or knowledge,
including children over 8. Such persons may
use this unit only if they are under supervision
of a person who is responsible for their safety
and if they are given all the necessary and
understandable instructions concerning the
safe usage of the unit and information about
danger that can be caused by its improper
usage.
•
Do not leave children unattended to prevent
using the unit as a toy.
•
For children safety reasons, do not leave
polyethylene bags used as packaging unat-
tended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with
polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of
suffocation!
•
Never use or dismantle the unit if the power
cord or the power cord plug is damaged, if the
unit works improperly or after it was dropped.
Apply to the nearest authorized service
center.
•
Transport the unit in the original package only.
