Power Failure Protection
This product has a built-in function to turn off the output when the input power source is recovered after
power failure.
A power failure occurred in operation, the unit keeps turning off the output even if it is recovered
afterward.
In order to turn on the output again, once turn off the [OUTPUT ON/OFF] switch and then turn it on
again.
If you do not use this function, set "PFP" to "OFF" in the startup menu.
If you do not use this function, the unit returns to the state just before a power failure occurred when the
input power source recovers after a power failure occurred in operation, or the [POWER ON/OFF] switch
is turned on. (If a power failure occurs while the [OUTPUT ON/OFF] switch is ON, the output will turn on
after recovery. If a power failure occurs while the [OUTPUT ON/OFF] switch is OFF, the output will keep
turning off after recovery.)
The Power Failure Protection (PFP) function can be set to ON (enabled) or OFF (disabled) on the "PFP"
menu in the startup menu.
(Refer to [6-3 Startup Menu].)

Last Setting Memory
This unit has a built-in last setting memory function that starts it up with the last setting state.
The unit memorizes the current settings after approx. two seconds after ending operations like
[OUTPUT ON/OFF] switch and voltage/current setting dial on on the front panel, etc.
When the unit is restarted in this state, the memorized settings just before the [POWER ON/OFF]
switch was turned OFF will be applied. However, the output state depends on the setting of the power
failure protection function.
*
Note that the settings cannot be memorized if the [POWER ON/OFF] switch is turned off within 2
seconds after setting.
Turn the current setting dial to select
"on" and "oFF" of the power failure
protection function.
