Local Programming Mode Operation
The local programming mode is set at the factory shipment.
Setting the Output Voltage/Current
Turn the voltage and current setting dials on the front panel counterclockwise to make the
minimum value.
Turn on the [POWER ON/OFF] switch.
Pressing the [SET] switch on the front panel displays the set voltage value on the voltmeter and
the set current value on the ammeter for approx. two seconds. Turn the output voltage setting
dial to set the desired voltage value, and then turn the output current setting dial to set the
desired current value.
Turning on the [OUTPUT ON/OFF] switch will start the output.

Switching Local/Remote Mode (Voltage/Current Mode Setting)
Setting the function setting switch, SW1, switches each setting of the voltage and current modes.
When using the external voltage control or external resistance control to adjust the output
voltage, set the remote/local switch SW1-8 to remote.
When using the external voltage control or external resistance control to adjust the output
current, set the remote/local switch SW1-6 to remote.
In the remote mode, the remote enable indicator "REMOTE" on the front panel will be lit.
SW1-5
Current program switching (OFF: External voltage, ON: External resistance)
SW1-6
Current local/remote mode switching (OFF: Remote, ON: Local)
SW1-7
Voltage program switching (OFF: External voltage, ON: External resistance)
SW1-8
Voltage local/remote mode switching (OFF: Remote, ON: Local)
Precautions for using remote systems:
The wiring for the remote system should be as short as possible.
Avoid routing the wiring for the remote control close to high-frequency power supplies.
(Pay special attention when using the unit with high-voltage and floating conditions.)
Although the unit equips complete protection circuits, applications such as excessive voltage or
energy may result in malfunction.
