 Introduction

Thank you very much for purchasing our R4G/R4GE series, the ultra-low noise programmable DC

power supply units.

We have taken all possible measures to ensure the quality control of our products. Please follow

the instructions in this manual to ensure full performance and safe use of the product.

We have applied our best to prepare this instruction manual, but if you find any unclear points, errors,

or missing contents, please contact us.

1-2

 Overview

The R4G/R4GE series are high precision, ultra-low noise DC power supply units adopting series regulator

technology, which have two 4-digit meters and high-resolution D/A* and A/D converters enabling you to

set and read the output values finer.

Since  the  series  are  equipped  with  not  only  overvoltage  protection  but  also  overcurrent  protection  as

standard,  moreover  support  digital  communication  as  well,  the  series  can  be  used  in  a  wide  range  of

applications from experiments to automation lines.

R4GE series is not equipped with D/A converters.

1-3

 Features

Voltage and current display with 4-digit indicators

Despite  its  small  size,  voltage  and  current  are  indicated  in  4-digit.  Possible  to  control  in  units  of

"10mV" and "0.1mA"*.

Model-dependent.

Ultra-low ripple and fast response

Ultra-low ripple, low-noise, and fast response by adopting a series regulator technology.

Various functions equipped as standard

Useful features such as overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection,

and key lock are provided as standard.

Not  noisy  because  of  the  natural  air-cooling  system  adopted  (108W  or  lower

models)

Its operating sound is quiet due to no cooling fan.

Digital interfaces are also supported. (only for R4G)
