In using HyperTerminal, it is recommended to select File\Properties\Settings and set Emulation to
ANSI, to avoid auto-detect making unwanted changes to the settings.

Cross cable connection as mentioned in above figure is necessary to
communicate with COM2 terminal.

Ensure COM2 serial communication setting done in GPS Master Clock
Model MC-1-M unit and end device should be same for proper
communication.
The port settings in HyperTerminal and the COM2 port of GPS Master Clock Model MC-1-M must match
each other for fruitful communication. The factory set settings of COM2 of GPS Master Clock Model MC-
1-M are set 9600(baud rate), 8 (data bits), N(Parity-None),2 (stop bit) and may be checked by observing
the LCD on boot up. It is necessary that user have to select “NONE” option in “Hardware Flow Control”
